Doobies Coffee and Doobies Vape Lounge officially staged its grand opening on a bustling Friday night of August 8, 2025 at the Don Graciano Building, and the city’s most active communities came out to celebrate.
At the center of the night’s energy was its trademark charisma and warm hospitality brought by Douglas Brocklehurst (“DougBrock”) along with long-time friends and family. What unfolded was not just a ribbon-cutting but a convergence of cultures: music lovers, creatives, coffee connoisseurs, bikers, pet lovers, artists, and the ever-curious niche crowds that give Quezon City its unfiltered charm.
The grand opening’s soundtrack was delivered by an electrifying lineup of DJs–Vant, Rion, and TÓ LOUD–who kept the beats fresh and the crowd moving until the late hours. But the evening’s biggest curveball came in the form of a surprise appearance by legendary comedian Brod Pete (Isko Salvador), whose antics and demeanor sent waves of good vibes.
