In a landmark moment for Filipino hip-hop, Billboard Philippines unveiled Pinoy Hip-Hop Mixtape 2025 last July 28, 2025 at the Stratosphere Events Hall, spotlighting the freshest talents set to redefine the culture. But behind the explosive cypher and powerful performances was a strong DBTV imprint—marking yet another milestone for the platform championing OPM talent across generations.
Douglas Brocklehurst (“DougBrock”), CEO and Executive Producer of DBTV, served as panel host for the second consecutive year, and now with Bret Jackson, Editor-in-Chief of Billboard PH for Billboard Philippines Volumes – steering powerful conversations on artistry, identity, and the future of Filipino hip-hop.
His presence signaled more than just showmanship—it was a testament to DBTV’s integral role in shaping today’s music landscape.
